VHI have issued notifications of the following changes effective 1st August 2019.

2 x Advanced Plans
•     PMI 48 10
•     First & Family Plan

Plan Closures
•     Start Plan
•     One Plan Starter
•     One Plan Starter D2D
•     First Plan Level 1
•     Family Plan Level 1

Rate changes will apply to a majority of plans effective 1st August 2019.

Benefit Changes
One Plan Access
•     Increase accommodation in public hospitals (private room in all public hospitals)
•     Increase accommodation in private hospitals (subject to €100 excess)
•     In Patient Psychiatric from 180 to 100 days
•     Fixed Price Procedures – changes to % cover
One Plan Access Plus
•     Increase accommodation in public hospitals (private room in all public hospitals)
•     Increase coverage in private hospitals (subject to €100 excess)
•     In Patient Psychiatric from 180 to 100 days
•     Fixed Price Procedures – changes to % cover
PMI 07 10
•     Medical and Surgical appliances from €6650 to €3000
•     Annual Maximum (out patient)  from €2000 to €1000
•     Removal of cover for certain facilities (Whitfield Clinic, Co Waterford and Kingsbridge,Sligo)
