Special Offers for PSFS – Public service friendly society members:
Following a recent scheme review of the Public Service Friendly Society Specified Illness Cover Plan – Scheme number 9929, Lyons Financial Services together with the PSFS are pleased to have secured revised rates for a term of 3 years until 01/05/2024. While the PFSF SICP rates have seen a small increase of 6% we are delighted to inform members that the number of illnesses covered for a full payment under the plan has increased by almost 50% and the definitions have been enhanced. The illnesses covered for full payment are outlined on page 6 of the booklet. As usual, member’s children continue to be covered free of charge to age 25.
There is also a new benefit under the plan, called ‘Additional Payments’. This benefit is in addition to your full cover and is paid out if suffer one of the less advanced illnesses outlined on page 7. The additional payment is €10,000 or the amount equal to your full cover, whichever is the lower. If an additional payment is paid out under your plan, it does not affect your full cover under the plan.
