Laya Healthcare will release 2 new plans on 1 June 2015

Simply Connect Plus (€1,099 per adult, €982.09 per young adult aged 25, €852.19 per young adult aged 24, €737.83 per per young adult aged 23, €633.91 per young adult aged 22, €529.99 per young adult aged 21, €549.50 per young adult aged 18 – 20 and €263.20 per child) provides cover for a private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room and day case cover in private hospitals with a €50 day case excess and a €150 excess for a members first inpatient private hospital claim per year.
Full cover is provided for day case and cardiac procedures in the Blackrock Clinic, Mater Private and Beacon hospital private hospitals.
A €175 shortfall per night applies for non cardiac procedures in the Blackrock Clinic and Mater Private hospitals. An orthopaedic co-payment applies in the Beacon Hospital.
Three nights cover in a public hospital is provided for maternity acomodation costs and up to €3,500 for home births.
The plan also has significant child healthcare and outpatient benefits which are subject to a €500 outpatient cap per benefit per member.
