Laya Healthcare will remove the pre and post-operative benefit from 6 plans (CompanyCare Gold, Essential Gold, HealthManager, HealthManager First, HealthManager Gold, HealthManager Silver)
Laya Healthcare will remove the care manager programme from 1 plan (HealthManager Gold)
Laya Healthcare is launching a new benefit called “Healthcoach by laya healthcare”. Healthcoach by laya healthcare is a new benefit providing members with health programmes.
A health programme following a face to face consultation is available on 107 schemes upon renewal from November 1st (see attached sheet for list of schemes)
A health programme following an online only consultation will be available on 8 schemes as of Nov 1st (see attached sheet for list of schemes)3 GP live visits are being added to 78 plans while the GP live benefit for Essential Health 300 is being extended from 2 to 3 free visits.
Laya Healthcare will be making the following benefit changes to the Company Health Plus No Excess plan.
The Beacon hospital will now be covered up to a private room with no shortfall
All private hospitals will now be covered up to a private room
The shortfall in hi-tech hospitals will reduce from €255 per night to €175 per night
The outpatient excess will reduce from €220 for an individual to €200 and from €440 for a family to €400
Laya Healthcare will be making the following benefit changes to the CompanyCare Premium No Excess plan.
The Beacon hospital will now be covered up to a private room with no shortfall
The Mater Private and the Blackrock Clinic will now be covered up to a semi-private room
Shortfalls for a private room in a hi-tech hospital will reduce from €175 per night to €100 per night
Laya Healthcare will be making the following benefit changes to the Health Manager Silver Plan:
Cover in the Mater Private, the Blackrock Clinic and the Beacon hospital will be increased from a semi-private room to a private room. The Convalescence Care benefit will be increased from €80 per day for 14 days to €150 per day for 14 days
The benefit for maternity in-patient hospital delivery/homebirth costs will be increased from €3,650 to €3,800
The benefit for maternity out-patient consultations will be increased from €600 per pregnancy to €700 per pregnancy
The Post-natal home nursing benefit will be increased from €1,300 for 2 nights to €1,475 for 2 nights
The benefit for the pre and post-natal package of benefits will increase from €550 to €650
These changes will apply to all new and renewing customers from this date.
