Irish Life Health will make a number of benefit enhancements and changes across 14 plans from 1 November 2017.
The changes include the addition of Infertility Benefit, International Second Opinion Service and Clinical Psychologist benefit. Irish Life Health will also make a number of benefit enhancements and changes across its Range of 8 and Range of 2 Personalised Packages.
From 1 November the upgrade waiting period waiver will be removed from Kick-Off Plan ILH and 65% cover for a semi-private room in selected private hospitals will be added.

Irish Life Health will also add an Affidea Minor Injury member benefit to all of its plans (excluding Health Plan 28) from 1 November. Irish Life Health will also allow existing customers of these plans to have access to this benefit from 1st November (again with the exception of Health Plan 28). This is subject to the opening of the Affidea minor injury units in Tallaght, Dublin & Eglinton Street, Cork which will provide Irish Life Health members with a point of sale discount on initial consultations.
Irish Life Health will reduce adult premiums on Health Plan 16.1, Be Fit 2, Be Fit 2.1, Health Plan 13, Business Plan Hospital + and Best Smart ILH on 1 November. The child price on Health Plan 13 and Business Plan Hospital + will be reduced and the child price on Health Plan 16.1, Be Fit 2 and Be Fit 2.1 will be increased. These benefit and price changes will apply to all new and renewing customers from this date.
