GloHealth will launch Classic Health plan with International Health and Travel package (€1,150 per adult and €277 per child) on 15 October.

This plan provides cover for a private room in a public hospital and a private room and day case cover in private hospitals with a €200 excess per inpatient claim and €100 excess per day case claim.

Full cover is provided for day case procedures in the Blackrock Clinic, Mater Private and Beacon hospital with a €100 excess per day case claim. 90% cover is provided for listed special procedures in the Blackrock Clinic, Mater Private and Beacon hospital with a €150 excess per claim. A €2,000 co-payment applies to certain orthopaedic procedures in a private and hi-tech hospital. Cover is provided for a restricted cardiac list in the Blackrock Clinic, Mater Private and Beacon hospital. Please contact GloHealth for this list.

Three nights cover in a public hospital is provided for maternity accommodation. The plan also includes the International Health and Travel personalised package.

This plan is available to all new and existing customers from this date.
