GloHealth will launch a new plan, Better Advantage on 27 November 2014.

Better Advantage (€1,039 per adult, €519.50 per student, €272 per child over 4, €136 per child of 3 years, children under 3 go free) will provide cover for a private room in a public hospital and a semi-private room in a private hospital with a €100 excess per private hospital claim. There is also cover for day case procedures with a €50 excess per claim and 90% cover for listed cardiac procedures and listed special procedures with a €150 excess per claim in The Blackrock Clinic, the Mater Private and the Beacon Clinic.  There is a €2,000 co-payment on certain orthopaedic procedures in private hospitals. There is also maternity accommodation cover of up to 3 nights in a public hospital provided.

Customers can choose two free Personalised Packages from GloHealth’s list of 8 Personalised Packages to add on to this plan.

This plan is available to all new and renewing customers from this date.
