Aviva will release Health Plan 28 on 1 September 2014.
Health Plan 28 (€1,393.30 per adult, €447.50 per child 1-3, €108 child 4, €629.70 per student 1-3 and €319.20 student 4) provides cover for a private room in a public hospital, a private room in a private hospital with a €150 excess per claim, a private room in the Beacon Clinic with a €150 excess per claim and day case cover in The Blackrock Clinic, Mater Private and Beacon Clinic private hospitals with a €75 excess per claim. Cover is also provided for listed cardiac procedures and listed special procedures in the Blackrock Clinic, Mater Private and Beacon Clinic private hospitals with a €50 excess per claim. Certain listed orthopaedic procedures have a €2000 co-payment when carried out in a private hospital.
The plan provides 3 nights maternity cover in a public hospital and a home birth grant of €3,450.
The plan has significant outpatient benefits such as a €40 refund x 12 visits of the costs of GP, dental and physiotheraphy visits with an outpatient excess of €1 per year.
The plan is available to new and renewing customers from this date.
